ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a bilingual professional who thrives on variety, organization, and making a tangible impact?
ORPC is looking for an Operations and Communications Coordinator to serve as the backbone of our Sherbrooke, QC team. In this key support role, you will bridge the gap between our Canadian operations, our US-based team and our partners, ensuring our administrative, regulatory, and communication engines run seamlessly.
Why This Role?
This isn’t a routine position. You will be a versatility champion, split across three high-impact areas:
- Regulatory & Funding Coordination (40%): You’ll be essential in supporting our work developing permit applications, monitoring regulatory deadlines, and assisting with grant applications to fuel our growth.
- Office Operations & Logistics (40%): From managing our CRM to coordinating international travel and event registrations, you’ll keep the team moving and the data clean.
- Communications & Marketing (20%): You’ll be the voice of our Canadian presence, executing social media calendars, contributing to our newsletters, and ensuring our bilingual communications are polished and professional.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proven Experience: 5–7 years in coordination, project support, or as an executive assistant—ideally within a technical or engineering environment.
- The “Self-Starter” Mindset: You are highly autonomous, exceptionally organized, and capable of managing multiple moving parts in a small-team environment.
- Bilingual Mastery: Complete professional fluency in both French and English is a must-have for translating documents and collaborating effectively with our English-speaking teams and partners on a daily basis.
- Tech Savvy: High proficiency in Office 365/Google Workspace and direct experience conceptualizing or managing a CRM database.

- Location: Professional office setting in Sherbrooke, QC with the ability to work remotely
- Status: Full-time
- Reports to: Director of Development, CA.
- Travel: Occasional travel for events or meetings.
