Ryan has led the development of the RivGen Power System from research and development phases through product commercialization, and provided field engineering and project management for the build and deployment of multiple systems. He earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Physics from Colby College, Maine. Prior to his work at ORPC, he was a researcher, project engineer, and project manager, and he has worked in the marine hydrokinetics field for a decade.
