Portland, ME, February 3, 2015 – Ocean Renewable Power Company (ORPC) is pleased to announce that John M. Ferland has been named President of ORPC Solutions, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary offering project development, licensing, and strategic services to river and ocean energy projects. In the 15 months since its formation, ORPC Solutions has attracted significant market interest and Ferland is ideally suited to lead this exciting new effort. He will continue in his role as ORPC’s Vice President of Project Development while assuming these new duties.
